Our region has one of the most amazing natural environments in America, and it is our responsibility to protect it. While Sumner and surrounding communities are facing growth pressures, the City should ensure any development is done with preservation of nature in mind. 

Amy will focus on protection of old-growth trees in our community, while balancing the needs of development. Everyone recognizes that natural landscapes need to be altered for development, but our land development regulations need to be updated to require relocation of trees rather than destruction.
